E-Sign has won a contract to help West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) digitise its processes for managing and signing documents.
WMCA will use E-Sign’s robust cloud-based technology to provide a seamless, secure and reliable digital workflow for executing all required documents – from grant agreements to supplier contracts.
E-Sign provides services to many Local Authorities and welcomes the new WMCA partnership, which comes amid a period of rapid growth for the Liverpool-based tech company, as ever-greater numbers of public bodies and companies ditch inefficient paper, printing and posting habits in favour of digital systems that boost efficiency, security, and service quality.
The efficiency gains delivered by the WMCA project will free up resources for frontline services – ultimately supporting the development of a strong digital economy in the West Midlands and contributing to the improvement of the everyday lives of residents.
E-Sign will also help the authority build improved cyber security user data protection systems.
Thomas Taylor, Managing Director of E-Sign said:
“We are hugely excited to be involved in such a significant project to help the Combined Authority build a solid digital infrastructure that frees up resources, lightens the load on the environment, and boosts the quality of services that residents receive.”
E-Sign’s other notable clients include the NHS, Armani, NFU Mutual and councils in Devon, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Somerset. Overseas clients include the Palestinian Authority.
