Product Update September 2024

As September comes to an end and we look forward to the start of autumn, the E-Sign team have been working hard on some exciting product updates that we want to share.

Updated Salesforce integration

This month we have launched our updated integration with Salesforce. Through this integration, users can create, manage, send and sign documents all from within the Salesforce dashboard. Other impressive features of the E-Sign and Salesforce integration include: 

• Sign documents faster with intuitive and interactive signing
• Merge customer, product, and pricing details to create sales documents in seconds
• Automate invoice generation with Salesforce Billing and Management
• Build contracts using pre-designed templates and Salesforce data effortlessly
• Track the status of e-signature requests
• Set document expiry dates and reminders

E-Sign for Salesforce is now available and listed on the Salesforce App Exchange.

New ‘save as’ feature

The new save as feature allows signers to start filling out a document, save it partially completed, and return to it later. With all the information they previously added still restored, ready to be finished and signed. 

This is massively beneficial for signers who are required to complete long documents and may need more time to do so. They will now have the flexibility to fill in a document when it is most convenient for them. Without the risk of having to add all their details again from scratch.

Email preferences

This update allows users to change their email settings so that they don’t receive a ‘user has signed’ email for each signer in the envelope. It may only seem like a small feature, but it gives users more control and ensures their email won’t be full of user has signed emails if a document has many different signers.

API updates and improvements

We are currently in the process of building our new Developer Hub and API Guides, which are designed to help businesses and developers integrate E-Sign with their existing systems using our API. 

Integrating with our API allows easy access to the features of our software without needing to use our platform. Thereby enabling the creation of customised apps tailored to the interests of your organisation. The new developer hub itself is also set to go live soon so be sure to keep updated with our social media posts and other news articles.
